Jai Lakshmi Ramana Aarti — Lyrics with Meaning
'Jai Lakshmi Ramana' is the aarti of Lord Satyanarayan (Vishnu), sung after the Satyanarayan Katha. It briefly recalls his grace to the people of the katha — the poor Brahmin, the woodcutter, King Chandrachud, the merchant and the cowherds. The katha and aarti are held on Purnima, at housewarmings and on happy occasions.
Jai Lakshmi Ramana, Swami jai Lakshmi Ramana | Satyanarayan Swami, jan patak harana ||
Ratna jadit sinhasan, adbhut chhavi raje | Narad karat nirajan, ghanta dhvani baje ||
Prakat bhaye kali karan, dvij ko darsh diyo | Boodho Brahman bankar, kanchan mahal kiyo ||
Durbal bheel katharo, jin par kripa kari | Chandrachud ek raja, tinki bipati hari ||
Vaishya manorath payo, shraddha taj deenhi | So phal bhogyo Prabhuji, phir stuti keenhi ||
Bhav bhakti ke karan, chhin chhin roop dharyo | Shraddha dharan keenhi, tinko kaaj saryo ||
Gwal baal sang raja, ban mein bhakti kari | Manvanchhit phal deenho, Deendayal Hari ||
Chadhat prasad savayo, kadali phal meva | Dhoop deep Tulsi se, raji Satyadeva ||
Shri Satyanarayan ji ki aarti, jo koi nar gave | Tan man sukh sampati, manvanchhit phal pave ||
