Bhagavad Gita 11.32 — I am Time
श्रीभगवानुवाच। कालोऽस्मि लोकक्षयकृत्प्रवृद्धो लोकान्समाहर्तुमिह प्रवृत्तः। ऋतेऽपि त्वां न भविष्यन्ति सर्वे येऽवस्थिताः प्रत्यनीकेषु योधाः ॥
śrībhagavānuvāca | kālo'smi lokakṣayakṛtpravṛddho lokānsamāhartumiha pravṛttaḥ | ṛte'pi tvāṃ na bhaviṣyanti sarve ye'vasthitāḥ pratyanīkeṣu yodhāḥ ||
Meaning
Shri Krishna said: I am Time, the mighty destroyer of worlds, now come forth to end these people. Even without you, none of these warriors standing in the opposing armies will survive.
In today's life
Time is greater than any person; knowing this can free us from pride and from fear of things we cannot control.
