Bhagavad Gita 2.62 — How desire leads to anger

ध्यायतो विषयान्पुंसः सङ्गस्तेषूपजायते। सङ्गात्सञ्जायते कामः कामात्क्रोधोऽभिजायते ॥

dhyāyato viṣayānpuṃsaḥ saṅgasteṣūpajāyate | saṅgātsañjāyate kāmaḥ kāmātkrodho'bhijāyate ||

Meaning

When a person keeps thinking about sense objects, attachment to them arises. From attachment comes desire, and from desire comes anger.

In today's life

What we keep thinking about grows in us — so be careful what you feed your mind, online and offline.
