Om Jai Shri Vishwakarma Aarti — Lyrics with Meaning
Lord Vishwakarma is revered as the divine craftsman of the gods and the architect of creation. Tradition says he built Dwarka, Indra's city and the weapons of the gods. Artisans, engineers, factories and shopkeepers worship their tools and machines on Vishwakarma Puja, usually 17 September, and sing this aarti.
Om jai Shri Vishwakarma, prabhu jai Shri Vishwakarma | Sakal srishti ke karta, rakshak shruti dharma ||
Aadi srishti mein vidhi ko, shruti updesh diya | Jeev matra ka jag mein, gyan vikas kiya ||
Rishi Angira ne tap se, shanti nahin paai | Dhyan kiya jab prabhu ka, sakal siddhi aai ||
Rog grast raja ne, jab ashray leena | Sankat mochan bankar, door dukh keena ||
Jab rathkar dampati, tumri ter kari | Sunkar deen prarthana, vipatti hari sagri ||
Ekanan chaturanan, panchanan raje | Dvibhuj chaturbhuj dashbhuj, sakal roop saje ||
Dhyan dhare jab pad ka, sakal siddhi aave | Man duvidha mit jaave, atal shakti paave ||
Vishwakarma ji ki aarti, jo koi nar gaave | Kahat Shivananand Swami, manavanchchhit phal paave ||
